Product Overview

MetaDefender Managed File Transfer is a cross-domain solution that enables the secure transfer of files into and out of critical networks. MetaDefender Managed File Transfer prevents advanced cyber security threats by leveraging multiple technologies within the MetaDefender Core platform, including Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (Deep CDR), Multiscanning, File-based Vulnerability Assessment, Proactive Data Loss Prevention (Proactive DLP) and Threat Intelligence.

Release Highlights

MetaDefender Vault adds a security configurations page to the UI allowing for easy management of certificates and other security controls. It is also possible now to enforce a specific version of Transport Layer Security (TLS) to ensure secure communications.

More information and user-friendly features and fixes available for supervisors -

  • A new column has been added to the Pending Approval page allowing supervisors to see the upload date of the file.
  • Supervisors have the added ability to configure the view to show / hide columns.
  • Bug Fix: UTF-8 character encoding for Syslog servers ensures audit events are now correctly displayed in a Syslog when there are non-ASCII characters in the message.
  • Bug Fix: A race condition has been fixed which had sometimes resulted in missing files in a folder download when creating an archive.
