About OPSWAT

We Protect the World's Critical Infrastructure

Our Cybersecurity Philosophy

Trust no file. Trust no device.

Our goal is to prevent malware and zero-day attacks. We believe that every file and every device poses a threat and that threats must be addressed at all locations at all times—at entry, at exit, and at rest. Our products focus on threat prevention and process creation for secure data transfer and safe device access. The result is productive solutions that minimize risk of compromise. That’s why 98% of U.S. nuclear power facilities trust OPSWAT for cybersecurity and compliance.

MetaDefender: The Critical Advantage

Our comprehensive platform is underpinned by patented foundational technologies that are trusted worldwide to secure critical environments. Purpose-built to protect critical environments, these technologies provide industry-leading advanced prevention against known and unknown threats, zero-day attacks, traditional malware, AI malware, and more.

Enterprises are investing more resources than ever in cybersecurity – and yet there are more and larger breaches every year. Thousands of threat prevention solutions are on the market, but most of them share one crucial flaw: they are based on detection, but detection is never 100% perfect. That is why MetaDefender, our advanced threat prevention platform, is based on more than just detection.

MetaDefender uses OPSWAT's unique Deep CDR (content disarm and reconstruction) to remove threats from files by reconstructing them and, in the process, removing potentially malicious content and scripts. MetaDefender also offers Multiscanning, file-based vulnerability assessment, and Proactive DLP (data loss prevention).
