These Chatbot Terms of Use (“Terms”) by and between OPSWAT Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “OPSWAT,” “We,” “Us” or “Our”) and you (“You” or “Your”) outline the terms applicable to Your use and access of artificial intelligence (AI) powered chatbots on OPSWAT’s websites (including https://www.opswat.com/, OPSWAT Academy, and My OPSWAT Portal) (the “Chatbot”). These Terms form part of and are subject to the OPSWAT Terms of Service.

Please read these terms carefully before engaging with the Chatbot. By interacting with the Chatbot, You agree and consent to these Terms.

1. General Information: The Chatbot is an automated system powered by Botpress Inc. (“Provider”). It is designed to provide You with information based on publicly available OPSWAT documentation. While we strive to provide accurate information through the Chatbot, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or up-to-date nature of the information provided by the Chatbot. We recommend that You use the Chatbot’s responses as a starting point and verify the information using OPSWAT’s product documentation or with a member of the OPSWAT support team.
2. Your Content: If You provide any information or data to the Chatbot (“Your Content”), Your Content will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing Your Content on the Chatbot, You grant OPSWAT and its affiliates the right to use, reproduce, modify, perform, display, distribute, and otherwise disclose Your Content to third parties. Your Content may also be used to train, retrain, tune, or fine-tune the Chatbot by OPSWAT and the Provider. Do not share any confidential information, personal data, or sensitive information with the Chatbot.
3. Privacy: If You provide or share any personal data with the Chatbot, You agree to the OPSWAT Privacy Policy, and You hereby consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the OPSWAT Privacy Policy. You further agree that if You provide any contact information to the Chatbot, You understand OPSWAT may send You email communications, such as information regarding OPSWAT’s products and services, including promotional information.
4. User Responsibility. All information, materials, and output generated or referenced by the Chatbot is provided to You solely for informational and/or reference purposes. Do not use the Chatbot’s responses for legal, compliance, or professional advice. Users of the Chatbot bear sole responsibility for their interactions with the Chatbot. It is important to exercise caution and use Your discretion while interpreting and acting upon the Chatbot's responses. The Chatbot and the Chatbot’s responses are provided “AS IS,” without warranty of any kind. OPSWAT assumes no responsibility or liability for (i) the accuracy or completeness of the information, data, materials or output provided by the Chatbot or (ii) any actions, losses, or damages resulting from Your use of, or reliance on the Chatbot.
5. Acceptable Use. You are prohibited from using the Chatbot (a) if You are under 18 years of age; (b) in a manner that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation; (c) to transmit/procure promotional materials; or (d) to distribute, display, publish, republish, process, modify, or copy any material, information, data, or other output provided by the Chatbot; or (e) for any commercial purposes. You are further prohibited from deleting or altering any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices from materials generated or provided by the Chatbot, and from using automated tools or scraping software to access or interact with the Chatbot.
6. Ownership. The Chatbot and its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, displays, images, video, and audio generated by the Chatbot) are owned by OPSWAT and its licensors. No right, title, or interest in or to the Chatbot or any content generated by Chatbot is transferred to You.
