OPSWAT Partners with SKD Labs to Further Enhance OPSWAT Certification Program

OPSWAT and SKD Labs announced they will partner to enhance OPSWAT's Certified Security Application Program. Together the companies will provide the highest quality certification of endpoint cyber security applications.

OPSWAT is an industry leader in security software and solutions with OESIS Framework, which enables software engineers and technology vendors to develop products for securing and managing endpoints through assessing and managing thousands of third-party applications. OPSWAT's Certified Security Application Program was launched in 2007 after gathering compatibility requirements from over 50 OPSWAT OEM customers, including leading CASB, NAC, SSL-VPN, and SSO solutions from vendors like Cisco, Citrix, SonicWall, and Palo Alto Networks. The program now supports over 1,000 applications from hundreds of anti-malware engines.

SKD Labs develops and implements the highest testing standards to ensure maximum effectiveness in functionality and performance of applications. Security applications that meet SKD Labs' and OPSWAT's testing criteria will be listed as OPSWAT Gold Certified security applications.

George Prichici, Product Manager at OPSWAT, said, "We are happy to announce the new partnership with SKD Labs. It further enhances our Certified Security Application Program, which allows our OESIS customers secure their network by offering them a resource for finding high-quality, compatible, and reliable endpoint security applications."

Jesse Song, CEO of SKD Labs, remarked, "We are excited to join OPSWAT's enhanced certification program. SKD Labs will help test application performance and quality so that system administrators will know they can rely on OPSWAT Gold certified anti-malware applications to protect their endpoints and networks from threats."

OPSWAT and SKD Labs encourage all anti-malware, encryption, and patch management vendors to learn more about the enhanced program, and to submit their latest versions for certification prior to public release. OPSWAT highly recommends all system administrators check OPSWAT's list of certified security applications before making a purchase decision.
