Nowadays, each operating system (OS) platform tends provide different features based on its own capabilities. MetaDefender Access now offers granular policies and gives administrators more flexibility to define security requirements on each OS platform. Still powerful but better organized, the new policy configuration panel features improved usability and cleaner presentation of the key things administrators care on each platform.
In this release, MetaDefender Access also extended the vulnerability allowlisting feature to the application level. Administrators can now allowlist vulnerabilities associated with specific applications. In this way, MetaDefender Access will bypass reporting vulnerabilities associated with those applications during compliance assessment, removing unnecessary overhead to deal with known risks.
