Metascan Online has gotten a couple of new updates in the last few weeks, and we wanted to share them with you!
The first change is that you can now subscribe to the OPSWAT blog to stay up-to-date with the latest OPSWAT reports, research and news. Visit the blog and find the subscribe button to access our feed.

Our second update allows users of our Public API to do more hash lookups than ever before. We've realized that as our hash database grows, so will the demands from our users. In order to address these demands, the limit has been increased to 1,500 lookups an hour, from a previous 1,000 per hour.

Finally, we added Lavasoft to the list of scanning engines, bringing the total to 43 engines. Lavasoft is a software company headquartered in Montreal, Canada. They offer their flagship Ad-Aware product for both personal and corporate environments.
