Cloud Access Control: Test Drive Available from the OPSWAT Portal

In the recent “Voice of the Enterprise: Information Security, Workloads and Key Projects 2018” report[1] published by 451 Research, 35% of the more than 500 IT decision makers surveyed cited “regulatory compliance” as the top security project in the next 12 months. It’s not just GDPR that’s putting compliance at the top of the “to-do” list; continued migration to the cloud, combined with the BYOD phenomenon, is making compliance ever more challenging for the security and IT leaders who have to enforce it.

MetaAccess, OPSWAT’s next-generation network access control solution, is intended to address this challenge by preventing risky devices from accessing local networks and cloud applications such as Office 365, Salesforce and Dropbox. Powered by OPSWAT’s patented cloud access control technology, MetaAccess also uses our industry-leading endpoint security and advanced threat prevention technologies to perform extensive security and compliance checks, as well as remediation, before allowing devices to access corporate data.

Effective immediately, anyone with access to the OPSWAT Portal (primarily customers and partners), can give MetaAccess a try by doing a “Device Security Check” when logging in to the Portal. By doing this, users will essentially be taking a test drive of MetaAccess, and performing a thorough security and compliance check on the device they login with.

Working in monitoring mode only, MetaAccess will not collect any sensitive user information. We’re able to provide this device security check by relying on pre-defined security policies focused on anti-malware real-time protection, as well as on device encryption.

If you’re not already using MetaAccess, this simple and effective trial, available when you sign-in to the OPSWAT portal, is a great way to give it test run.  You’ll find a wealth of additional product information on MetaAccess once in the Portal, and you can always find helpful information on the OPSWAT web site

MetaAccess, especially when used in combination with our Advanced Threat Prevention platform, MetaDefender, is an extremely effective way to address the double-whammy of security and device compliance.

Login to the Portal now and give MetaAccess a try.
