Verdasys, a leader in Enterprise Information Protection software for Global 2000 organizations, today announced that the company's flagship product, Digital Guardian, has received OPSWAT Gold Certification. With the designation of Gold Data Loss Prevention, OPSWAT has certified that Digital Guardian 6.0 is compatible with leading technology solutions that employ the OESIS Framework, and will be visible on their management consoles.
Digital Guardian, recognized as a Leader in Gartner's 2011 Magic Quadrant for Content-Aware Data Loss Prevention, is a scalable solution platform that provides several independent layers of protection to enable secure data sharing across physical, virtual, mobile, and cloud environments. Its integrated technology framework incorporates network, desktop, and server agents to identify, audit and control data risks throughout the business process. Digital Guardian is the first product to receive the Gold Data Loss Prevention certification from OPSWAT.
OPSWAT Certification verifies that Digital Guardian is compatible with OPSWAT’s OESIS Framework, a cross platform, open development framework that enables technology solutions to detect, classify and manage thousands of third-party software applications. OESIS Framework is deployed in many leading SSL VPN, network access control (NAC) and other solutions to power endpoint compliance checking. OPSWAT Certification verifies that security applications are compatible with these leading network and technology solutions, so that users experience fewer issues when undergoing health checks.
"The OPSWAT Certification program enables independent software vendors to ensure the compatibility of their applications with leading solutions from vendors like Juniper, Cisco, Citrix, and many others. As the first DLP product to be certified at the Gold level, Digital Guardian 6.0 has been shown to have the highest level of interoperability," said Elisse Lockhart, Partner Marketing Manager at OPSWAT. "Verdasys has demonstrated a full commitment to an ongoing technology partnership with OPSWAT, and we are delighted to welcome them into the program."
"OPSWAT Certification is an important milestone for Verdasys, and signals our compatibility with a critical industry standard for managing endpoint security software applications," said Jim Ricotta, Verdasys CEO. "Data Loss Prevention is a top-of-mind issue for global enterprises, and participating in the OPSWAT interoperability certification program provides another level of confidence for our customers."
