MetaDefender Storage Security offers a robust layer of protection for On-Prem and Cloud Storage. It protects enterprise-stored data from data breaches, downtime, and compliance violations in the cloud and on-premises storage and collaboration solutions like OneDrive, Box, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Cloudian, Dell EMC, and any S3 or SMB compatible storage.
MetaDefender Storage Security leverages multiple OPSWAT technologies like Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction, Multiscanning, Proactive Data Loss Prevention to protect stored files, documents, and images from Zero-Day attacks, advanced threats and sensitive data loss.
Release Highlights
Integrating MetaDefender Storage Security with Network File System (NFS) Storage is now possible, offering functionality similar to SMB storage.
1. Operation with ease:
- Add, edit, and delete NFS from the Storage unit (only possible from the onboarding page). Integration instruction link.
- Able to validate and add unique units (preventing duplicates).
- Implement efficient import and export functionality for NFS units.
2. Real-time Processing (RTP):
- Manage the lifecycle of RTP service (start, stop, restart).
- Retrieve files upon creation, movement, or modification during active RTP processing.
3. Multi Instant Scans:
- Initiate, cancel, or modify multiple instant scans.
- Generate updated reports categorized by file size: empty, small (1K - 1MB), medium (100MB), and large (1GB).
4. Automated post-actions:
- Execute configurable post-actions:
- Deep CDR™ Technology (Keep/Neutralize/Eliminate original files)
- Move sanitized/allowed/blocked files to designated storage (S3/Box/Azure Blobs).
- Retrieve sanitized files from other storage (Box/Azure Blobs).
- Delete blocked files.
5. Enhanced Logging Capabilities:
- Implement robust logging mechanisms to audit NFS-related actions.
- Include relevant NFS services within the logged data.
- Provide extensive configuration and rotation.
6. Polling time intervals support configuration
