The Metascan Online Chrome extension also provides the ability to quickly scan a file for malware prior to download. With a simple shortcut in the ‘right-click’ menu you can determine if a file is secure before even clicking the link.
The Metascan Online Google Chrome extension is available for download here or you can easily search for 'Metascan Online' in the Chrome Web Store. To take advantage of the threat detection capabilities simply add in your Metascan Online API key as directed after installing the extension.
