OPSWAT would like to announce that we have completed major upgrades to the Metascan Online infrastructure, significantly improving the performance of both the scanning as well as the hash lookup functionality available through the Metascan Online API.
OPSWAT has invested in additional servers to support the Metascan Online service, and has rolled out architectural changes that will improve the response times for all API calls.
If you have an existing integration with the Metascan Online API, please review the documentation for how the functionality should be used after this upgrade. The existing APIs available through api.metascan-online.com are deprecated as of June 1st, 2014.
