In this Employee Spotlight, get to know Chad Loeven, VP Malware Analysis! He is located in Montreal, Canada and joined OPSWAT two months ago.
Please share a little about your role at OPSWAT.
I came on board to help drive our entry into the malware analysis space, especially with the SNDBOX acquisition. We have a great story to share with the market about how OPSWAT covers all aspects of malware analysis.
How did you begin your career in cybersecurity?
I was asked to help an anti-spam vendor raise money and find technology partners 20 years ago (before "cybersecurity" was a thing).
What do you like the most about working at OPSWAT?
I like working at OPSWAT because of the flexibility, entrepreneurial energy and focus on customer success.
What has been your favorite project to work on?
Working cross-functionally with product marketing, field marketing, product management, R&D and the global sales teams to launch our MMA solution.
If you could describe OPSWAT in one word, what would it be and why?
Entrepreneurial. OPSWAT still has the DNA of a startup and the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing market conditions and technology shifts.
