Florida State University's iSchool gains strategic insight and industry expertise with the addition of OPSWAT COO, Stephen Gorham, to its iAdvocacy Board
Tallahassee, Fla. – Oct. 3, 2023 – The Florida State University's (FSU) School of Information (iSchool) is proud to announce the appointment of Stephen Gorham, Chief Operating Officer at OPSWAT, to its iAdvocacy Board. As an esteemed alumnus, Stephen Gorham earned his master's degree in information studies from FSU in 2004 and brings two decades of operational excellence and IT-focused leadership experience to this role.
The iAdvocacy Board is a collection of dedicated alumni and industry leaders who promote the iSchool by providing advice and support through active and informed advocacy, collaborations, education, and community involvement that will result in a better learning experience and inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students.
Stephen Gorham's long-standing and remarkable career in the field of information technology is a tremendous asset to the School of Information's iAdvocacy Board. His dedication and expertise bring a wealth of knowledge and experience not only to the board, but for our faculty, staff, and students. The iSchool's Admin Team is delighted to welcome him aboard to actively contribute his time and industry insights, further propelling the board's mission forward.

Gorham has led large enterprise IT operations teams in various capacities, serving as the Vice President of Cyber Security & Infrastructure Capabilities for CompuCom, Vice President of Services for Extensys, Inc., and Vice President of Technology/CIO of Hillsborough Community College. He currently holds a CISSP and CySA+ certification and is a former CISO.
