We’re excited to announce the Beta release of a brand new security feature for Metascan Online – IP reputation scanning! The fastest cloud-based multi-scanning solution now allows users to scan IP addresses utilizing multiple reputation sources and we're opening up the new feature to our community before we formally launch in an effort to gather valuable feedback.
The all-new security feature, currently in beta, allows users to scan an unfamiliar IP address or URL with 15 unique reputation lists to determine if the website may contain malware, such as a botnet. By scanning an IP address with multiple reputation list sources, users can quickly and easily ensure the website they plan to visit is malware free and not hosting any malicious binaries.
