We want to help system administrators manage their security architecture by making it easier for them to manage their Metascan® and MetaDefender deployments. Now, with the release of MetaDefender 3.1.0, administrators can adjust Metascan functionality right from the MetaDefender Management Console. To view Metascan dashboard data, simply toggle the view located on the top left hand section of the home dashboard.
By selecting Metascan, admins will be able to view server health, mail agent, and client data within their MetaDefender dashboard, and make necessary adjustments to both MetaDefender and Metascan workflows.

Important Announcement for Metascan and MetaDefender Admins:
OPSWAT encourages all users to upgrade their systems to the latest versions of MetaDefender and Metascan whenever it is possible for them to do so. For any users that are using versions of Metascan older than 3.9.1, please be aware that OPSWAT will soon stop releasing offline definition update packages for Metascan versions prior to 3.9.1. If you have Metascan installed in an offline environment and do not upgrade Metascan to a recent version, you will have to use the Automatic Definition Update Download Utility to download definition updates.
Other Fixes and Enhancements:
- Floppy disks are now supported as a copy-to post action
- Data can now be adjusted for custom time periods
