OPSWAT is excited to announce the release of Metascan 3.8.0! This new version of Metascan brings several major changes:
- Beta release of new REST API
- AVG is now included with Metascan 4
- Logging of system events to Syslog
- Scanned files can be downloaded from the Metascan Management Console
The new REST API provides greater functionality compared to the current REST API and offers a more detailed scan history. Also with the new logging of system events to Syslog servers, network administrators can now monitor and manage their Metascan servers from their existing Syslog server.
This release is now available for download on the OPSWAT Portal. To upgrade your installation of Metascan, please follow the upgrade steps outlined in the Metascan Installation and Upgrade Guide.
