Video: Creating Profiles Based On Security Clearance

In our latest MetaDefender training video, Tony Berning, Sr. Project Manager at OPSWAT, explains different use cases for MetaDefender Workflow Profiles and how you can leverage them for your specific security needs.

Different individuals require different security policies before they can bring data into an organization, so MetaDefender gives you the option of programming separate profiles for individuals or for different categories of users. For example, a consultant bringing in files on a USB to a nuclear plant might need to pass through a higher level of scrutiny than would a staff engineer. Or some users might need to bring in operating system patches, while other users only need to bring in Microsoft Office documents.

MetaDefender comes with built-in default profiles, but it is easy to modify them or to create your own user profiles. This video provides an overview of the main features and shows how you can program them to your organization's needs. Starting with a summary of each default profile, the tutorial then covers user questions, media types, scan by Metascan, and post processing for allowed and blocked files.
