We’ve also introduced a new snapshot feature that adds resiliency and failover security to the NetApp ONTAP connector. Snapshots of in-progress files are captured every three seconds, providing incremental backups as an added protection layer in case of unexpected failures, so you can trust your data remains secure.
In tandem with the snapshot feature, OPSWAT technologies perform multi-layer inspections on files to detect vulnerabilities, zero-day threats, and compliance issues. The RTP (real-time processing) capability, driven by an event-based mechanism, ensures that a separate scan is triggered for each request whenever the same file is sent.
For further operational efficiency, users can schedule on-demand file scans using the polling process.
In addition to native integration, MetaDefender Storage Security remains flexible with support for other integration protocols, including SMB, NFS, and SFTP, ensuring you can seamlessly integrate our solution into your existing infrastructure.
