The new Installed Applications Inventory feature provides administrators with a centralized view of every application installed on each endpoint. Staying ahead of compliance gaps while keeping track of patching status across an entire organization can be challenging, especially when managing a large number of endpoints. This release introduces a Centralized Patch Status feature that consolidates all patching information into a single, easy-to-read view. This feature enables administrators to view the device patching status, including pending or required reboots, for enhanced awareness of patch management.

For expanded visibility, we introduce the ability to view real-time file copy status through clickable tabs during peripheral media data transfers. Users can view the results by destination or by files and navigate between file statuses such as Allowed Files, Blocked Files, and Unvalidated Files. This enhancement gives users immediate insight into progress and results as files are being copied to removable media devices, ensuring data integrity and full transparency throughout every transfer.

With the ability to download files directly through the new “Shared with Me” tab in Managed File Transfer feature within the MetaDefender Endpoint user interface, users can benefit from a streamlined file sharing process. This streamlined workflow aims to enhance the user experience by enabling teams to exchange critical files with confidence and ease, while maintaining full control over data access and security.
