It protects enterprise stored data from data breaches, downtime, and compliance violations in cloud and on-premises storage and collaboration solutions like OneDrive, Box, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Cloudian, Dell EMC, and any SMB compatible storage.
MetaDefender Storage Security leverages multiple OPSWAT technologies to protect stored files, documents, and images from Zero-Day attacks (Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction), advanced threats (Multiscanning), and sensitive data loss (Proactive Data Loss Prevention).
Release Highlights
MetaDefender Storage Security now supports Microsoft Azure Blob integration. Users can integrate Azure Blob storage in MetaDefender Storage Security and configure remediation actions for it.
MetaDefender Storage Security new release enhances blocked file remediation actions. More options are now available in the remediation actions menu.
A strict mode was introduced that can be used to ensure that all files will be processed using the blocked files remediation rules.
With this release, an AMI for MetaDefender Storage Security was published in AWS Community that should simplify EC2 deployment.
In addition, the release includes the following bug fixes -
- Fixed cache issue - the latest version of the application available in all browsers after upgrade
- More pertinent information is now available in logs for scan failures
- The display has been modified to 'Blocklisted' instead of 'Blocked' in the report
- Fixed timeout issue for large deployments when searching for users in remediation action configuration
- Configuration import of older versions is now possible
