Upgrading Metascan just became even easier! We recently created two Metascan videos to demonstrate how customers can seamlessly transition to the latest version of Metascan and export and import their current configuration settings.
The first video, 'How To Upgrade to the Latest Version', shows that after downloading the latest Metascan version from the OPSWAT Portal, users can quickly begin utilizing the latest feature enhancements and improvements included in the new version. It's important to note that before beginning the upgrade process, users who have an older version of Metascan installed on their machine must uninstall the software to ensure a smooth transition.
The second video, 'How to Export and Import Configuration Settings', discusses how administrators can quickly export and import their Metascan configuration settings. This feature allows administrators to override existing configuration settings or apply these settings to additional Metascan servers to ensure they are all using the same configurations.
