On May 31, we attended the Australian Cyber Conference (AISA) in Canberra in person, the biggest cyber security conference in the nation’s capital at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.

This event was mainly attended by Government workers. There is a massive push by the newly elected Federal Government of Australia for all departments to tighten their cyber security posture, and the attendees were all looking to get more information on what products can keep them secure.

“Thiswas one of the best attended events in recent years,” said Ian Berkery, Regional Sales Manager A/NZ at OPSWAT. Ian and OPSWAT’s channel partner EMT, were there to talk with hundreds of cybersecurity professionals from the Government sector in the Federal, State and insurance industries about our products, including MetaDefender Kiosk, Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (Deep CDR), and Multiscanning, and how they keep data secure.

The OPSWAT MetaDefender Kiosk brought a great amount of attention to our booth, and we were able to demonstrate how the kiosk inspects all media for malware, vulnerabilities, and sensitive data to our booth visitors.
