This year, the Nuclear Information Technology Strategic Leadership (NITSL) Conference took place in Baltimore, Maryland from July 18-21, drawing many of the leaders in the nuclear utility industry and regulatory agencies.
Threats to the nuclear industry have grown more sophisticated over time, especially with the need to isolate critical digital assets from external networks. The best solution for protecting nuclear facilities and other critical infrastructure environments takes people, processes, and technology into consideration, which is why OPSWAT is the trusted critical infrastructure protection (CIP) solutions provider by most nuclear facilities in the U.S.
The OPSWAT team hosted a lunch on Monday, July 18 and drew attendees to the booth to demonstrate how our critical infrastructure protection (CIP) solutions, including MetaDefender Kiosk, MetaDefender Managed File Transfer (MFT), MetaDefender Drive, and NetWall Security Gateways, can prevent threats from entering OT networks and ensure industrial network security.

The CyberTrailer even made the trek up from Tampa, FL so that attendees could experience real-world OT cybersecurity challenges. Through this hands-on experience, attendees could test removable media threats through real attack simulations, see malware explode, and learn how to mitigate attack vectors in industrial environments.
