MetaDefender 3.0.12 is now available for download. As mentioned in our last Policy Patrol update, MetaDefender now supports copy to post actions for file uploads to Policy Patrol Secure File Transfer 2.2 (currently in beta). This added functionality can help mitigate the risks of working in an environment with network connection, and can be used along with Arbit's Lightspeed Datadiode for high-security unidirectional data flows.

Updated Look and Feel for MetaDefender Management Console

We have updated the MetaDefender Management Console to have the same look and feel as the Metascan Management Console, allowing system administrators to navigate both consoles with ease. Administrators can find useful file information and scanning analysis right from the dashboard, and set copy to post actions within the configuration tab.
Other Fixes and Enhancements:
- Fixed issue where floppy disks were not supported on some non-English language operating systems
- The security and compatibility of the MetaDefender Management Console and web interface have been improved by replacing the PHP component with JavaScript
