In this release, we've made it easier for our Gears administrators to manage guest devices in their network. Administrators can now integrate Gears with their logging and automation software, as well as their ticketing workflows through our email notification enhancements. If a Gears administrator were to discover a problem with an unmanaged guest device, they can quickly remove the device without waiting for the auto-configurations in Gears to take care of it.

We're one more stop along in our roadmap across the United States. Bringing you new features and enhancements at every stop of the way, as we look for new ways to innovate each and every day. This Gears release includes:
- External Email Addresses Can Now Be Notified
- Immediately Remove Guest Devices
- New Critical Status Settings in the Gears API
- Other Enhancements and Fixes
External Email Addresses Can Now Be Notified
Gears administrators can now notify email addresses outside of their Gears account about issues and device events. These email addresses can be entered in order to keep other administrators and management teams informed of IT issues, as well as integrating issue notifications with their own logging and automation software. With this new feature, administrators could send critical issues to their ticketing system, which could then alert the organization's support team.

Gears Administrators can enter the email addresses associated with automation and ticketing software like servicenow and Jira.
Immediately Remove Guest Devices
We've made it easier to immediately remove guest devices from your network. When observing the status of a guest device, an administrator can quickly remove the device from their network right from the individual device's details page. This way, Gears administrators can immediately remove unmanaged guest devices that have been lost or unseen, without having to wait for the auto removal configurations to take care of it.

New Critical Status Settings in the Gears API
We have made updates to our Gears Cloud API that will improve integrations and critical status settings for developers who would like to utilize OPSWAT Gears technology as part of their security infrastructure. We offer cloud and client APIs, and each one of the APIs focuses on a different aspect of our platform. Simply register yourself on our developer portal along with your application to gain access to these sample APIs and integration methods.
