OPSWAT periodically reviews the engines included in each of the standard MetaDefender Core engine packages to determine if we are providing the best combination of engines for our customers. With the recent release of MetaDefender Core, we have changed the engines included in each of the standard packages.
- Zillya! is replacing ThreatTrack in MetaDefender Core 8 and above packages
- Ikarus is replacing Agnitum in MetaDefender Core 12 and above packages
Definition updates will still be available for the previous MetaDefender Core engine packages, both for deployments that are online and offline, but we encourage you to move to the new releases with the new engine packages as soon as possible.
We are also in the process of updating the engines included in our MetaDefender Core 20 package. In the meantime, if you would like to upgrade your deployment of MetaDefender Core 20, please contact our Customer Success Team.
