If you do not want to change engines, the Symantec, TrendMicro, and TrendMicro HouseCall engines are available for the duration of your current license. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to support the expected functionality. However, we can no longer offer full support for these engines.

Multiscanning Anti-Virus Engine Update

If you are currently licensed for the MetaDefender Max Engine package, the Symantec, Trend Micro, and Trend Micro HouseCall engines will be removed without replacements at the time of renewal.

We will continue to add market-leading anti-malware engines to the platform to develop our Multiscanning solution. We look forward to continually enhancing our list of AV engines in the coming months to best support our users. We will keep you posted when the additional AV engines are available.
