The new features help improve endpoint security, performance, and compliance, and make it easier for MetaDefender Endpoint users to stay protected against peripheral and removable media threats
Multilingual Support for Extended Localization
Language support has been expanded to include Arabic, Spanish, and Japanese for two of our key features: Peripheral Media Protection and Peripheral Device Control. With more localization expansion planned, we are minimizing language barriers and improving overall usability for users to defend against peripheral and removable media cyberattacks globally.
Full Audit Trails with A New Malware Scan History Screen
The Malware Scan feature now offers a new history screen, making it easier to access and navigate the malware scan history. MetaDefender Endpoint users can now quickly view the status of each past scan, the country of origin, and vulnerabilities, in order to maintain a thorough audit trail of all malware scans and easily track, review, and respond to threats more efficiently while ensuring full accountability and control.
Interactive Malware Scanning Process with More Insights
The Memory Scan feature has been enhanced with additional context to include CPU and memory usage in the process tree during scans. These enhancements provide deeper insights into system resource consumption and more informed threat analysis.
We have also enhanced the results screen to retain the process tree view after completing a memory scan for improved visibility and user experience.
Tailored Experience with Customizable Branding
We’re also introducing a new customization capability that enables organizations to align the platform with their internal branding standards. Customers can now customize the MetaDefender Endpoint logo across the user and system interface, supporting branding requirements and creating a more tailored experience for users.
Virus Definition Date in Security Score on MacOS Devices
This release also introduces an upgrade to our retrieval mechanism in virus definition updates for macOS devices. The enhanced process delivers more accurate and timely Security Score insights for faster threat responses and improved compliance.
On-premises Compliance Support for Linux-Based Devices
Support has been added for operations in compliance checks when My OPSWAT Central Management is deployed on-premises. This enhancement ensures consistent policy enforcement and helps maintain compliance across environments.
