Threat Intelligence Feed API Deprecation

We are making an important announcement for all our users consuming the MetaDefender Cloud Threat Intelligence Feed: the Top Infected Feed is now deprecated and will no longer be available starting from May 1st, 2020. We recommend everyone using this feed to switch over to the Latest Infected Hashes Feed.

Feed URLs

Why Update?

  • A more complex and detailed malware report. Depending on the license plan, the Latest Infected Hashes Feed can expose up to one year of infected hashes.
  • Real-time updates. Infected hashes are added to the feed immediately after being detected, so users receive threat information as soon as possible
  • More granular access to file-type filtering. Filtering files by file type now happens directly at the API level by specifying the file category of interest in the query params.

What Stays the Same?

  • Free users can consume 1000 entries per day
  • The data is returned in a paginated format of 1000 entries per page
  • The feed can be used as a blacklist for quarantine hashes threats

At OPSWAT we are committed to providing the best quality tools and data to our users. Our products are evolving continuously to match industry requirements and user feedback.

If your organization is using our Threat Intelligence Feed, please update your integration before May 1st, 2020.
