From May 13 to 15, OPSWAT Academy hosted its latest MetaDefender Platform Bootcamp in Dubai, bringing together cybersecurity professionals from across the MENA region for three days of immersive, hands-on training.
We were excited to return to Dubai for the second time, recognizing the city as a key regional hub for digital transformation and critical infrastructure protection. The strong engagement from participants reaffirmed Dubai’s importance as a destination for practical, high-impact cybersecurity education.
The bootcamp provided a well-structured curriculum that combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, making complex topics much easier to understand and apply.

Each session was designed to support hands-on learning through task-based exercises, allowing participants to engage directly with the material and gain actionable skills relevant to their operational environments.
Looking ahead, the upcoming Istanbul bootcamp will feature the addition of MetaDefender Managed File Transfer to the lab environment, offering a more comprehensive experience focused on securing sensitive data flows and enforcing policy-driven controls.
As OPSWAT Academy continues to expand its global training footprint, we remain focused on delivering real-world, simulation-based education that prepares professionals to defend critical systems with confidence and precision.
