The OPSWAT team recently attended the Cyber Security for Critical Assets (CS4CA) Conference in Houston, Texas. This two-day conference brought together industry experts and cybersecurity professionals from various sectors to discuss the common challenges faced by our country's critical infrastructure.
The conference attracted hundreds of attendees from different industries, including Energy, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and others to learn and network with one another. One of the main themes of the conference was the importance of building zero trust in OT environments, which is crucial to protecting critical infrastructure from cyberattacks and minimizing the risk of cyber-driven disruptions.
Another important topic discussed during the conference was securing both IT and OT environments. In today's interconnected world, IT and OT are vulnerable to cyber threats, which is why segmenting and securing both environments is essential to strengthening cybersecurity within critical industries.
The OPSWAT team had the opportunity to network with dozens of companies from various sectors and share how our critical infrastructure protection (CIP) solutions could offer end-to-end protection for their critical assets using MetaDefender Kiosk, MetaDefender OT Security, MetaDefender Industrial Firewall, and many more.

Roundtable Recap: I can see my OT assets, now what?
Pete Lund, VP of Products – OT Security also hosted a roundtable discussion that covered what to do after teams gain visibility into their OT assets and how to continue advancing up the cybersecurity maturity curve. He also touched on how OPSWAT’s unique solutions can help organizations protect their assets within different levels of the Purdue Model, providing a comprehensive approach to CIP.

CS4CA provided an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity professionals and industry experts to come together, share their experiences, and learn best practices on how to secure critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
