The OPSWAT team went out to the Nuclear Energy Institute Cyber Security Implementation Workshop in Savannah, Georgia last week. The three-day conference was attended by approximately 300 representatives from the nuclear industry.
The NEI Cyber Security Implementation Workshop is an annual workshop for the nuclear industry about meeting stringent Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for cyber security. MetaDefender Kiosk helps nuclear facilities meet those requirements, in addition to blocking targeted malware attacks, which is why MetaDefender Kiosk has been deployed at dozens of nuclear facilities.
All our customers in the nuclear energy industry attended the conference, and we enjoyed being able to connect with them.

At the workshop, we showcased several new deployment options for MetaDefender Kiosk, our solution for safely bringing files and data from portable media such as USB drives into a high-security, air-gapped network.
MetaDefender Kiosk is used by nuclear facilities all across the world to keep internal networks secure and to comply with governmental data security regulations for the nuclear facility. Learn more about MetaDefender Kiosk here.
We also demonstrated several new MetaDefender Client features and enhancements for better endpoint monitoring and protection.
The NEI workshop was terrific, and we're already looking forward to our next event for critical infrastructure security: the Cyber Security for Critical Assets Summit in Houston, Texas on March 8-9. Take a look at our Events page to see the rest of the events we plan to attend this year, and be sure to contact us to set up a meeting at the next one.
