Cloud Security for Salesforce v4.14 empowers all users to block the upload of malicious files, eliminating any risk of compromising your file system.
Enhanced Download Blocking Communication
Improved UI messaging clarifies the reason behind a blocked download, including the specific file extension(s) that triggered the block. This provides administrators with greater transparency and control.
Automated Blocked File Deletion
A new configuration option, "Delete blocked files when uploading", with the following description “Blocked files will be removed right after the uploading process”, enables the automatic removal of any files identified as threats during the upload process. This functionality expedites threat mitigation and simplifies security management.
Comprehensive MetaDefender Logs
MetaDefender Logs Status field has been enhanced to reflect the new Delete blocked files action. When a file is deleted due to this configuration, the status field will clearly indicate Deleted due to current configurations, providing administrators with a clear audit trail.
Additional Enhancements
This release resolves issues with file scanning within the Community zone on Salesforce, ensuring comprehensive threat detection across all areas of your Salesforce environment.
