Building on the success of our inaugural DevOps Trainee Program in 2023, we’re excited to catch you up on this year’s DevOps & CloudOps Training Program, which ran from March to May 2025. This year’s expanded focus on CloudOps builds on our mission to develop top-tier talent, giving both our current team and the next generation the expertise to grow with the industry and shape its future.
Over three months, four DevOps interns and more than 20 OPSWAT employees came together for 15 topics, 41 sessions, and 54 hours of hands-on learning, led by our top OPSWAT DevOps experts.
Our approach is straightforward: invest in people to build resilient talent. For interns, the program is a bridge between classroom knowledge and real-world application with mentorship, a monthly allowance, full office perks, and the opportunity to join OPSWAT full-time. For employees, it’s a chance to gain up-to-date DevOps and CloudOps expertise, learn directly from OPSWAT’s best engineers, and strengthen collaboration across teams.
From Theory to Real-World Application
The curriculum covered Linux, networking, CI/CD, containers, cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, and observability, all taught with a strong focus on practical use cases. For Thien Tran, a senior student at HCMC University of Information Technology, the program connected the dots between school and industry.
As a student passionate about DevOps, I used to wonder how all the tools I learned in school actually get used in real life. Through the OPSWAT DevOps & CloudOps training program, I got to explore key topics ... and see how all these tools came together and really boosted my skills. I'm truly thankful to the OPSWAT HR team, the trainers, and my fellow interns for all their support. It was a great experience that helped me learn more about DevOps and how it’s done at OPSWAT.

A Collaborative and Supportive Environment
Hands-on activities and real-world stories from trainers brought the material to life. For Huyen Tran, also a senior student at HCMC UIT, collaboration was key.

Confidence for the Next Career Step
For many participants, the program was a stepping stone toward professional readiness.
I’m really thankful to OPSWAT and all the mentors in the program for their constant support and for giving me the chance to explore and work with new technologies.
