What do you do at OPSWAT?
I am the Channel Sales Manager of OPSWAT Japan. My main mission is to provide sales support to primary distributors and develop resellers. I work with Sales and Marketing to expand the pipeline and improve sales accuracy.
When did you join OPSWAT?
March 2024.
If you could describe OPSWAT in one word, what would it be and why?
I would describe OPSWAT as an innovator. OPSWAT offers innovative security solutions that are not available elsewhere.
How did you begin your career in the cybersecurity industry?
I started my career in 2003 as an integrator for a Japanese company and after four years I moved to a foreign network equipment vendor. I started my career in the cybersecurity industry in 2015 when I moved to a foreign web security equipment vendor.
What do you like the most about OPSWAT?
Deep CDR is one of OPSWAT's strengths and features; it is a unique and one-of-a-kind solution. OPSWAT will continue to provide the latest and most creative security solutions.
What do you like most about the office where you work?
The CIP lab, located in our new office and opened in July 2024. The CIP lab is a showroom where all OPSWAT's innovative solutions are shown. We feel that the demonstrations with actual equipment are very helpful in deepening understanding of security solutions that are difficult to understand with just words and documents, and in creating a vision of what to expect after the introduction of OPSWAT.
What do you like most about your direct team?
I like that my colleagues and I work together in the Japan office. Working together with colleagues who are always challenging themselves positively has led to my personal growth. This environment makes every day exciting and fun!
What are your favorite activities outside of work?
I have been playing the sport of beach rugby since 2004. We participate in several tournaments every summer. I have been practicing every weekend for this sport for more than 20 years. I’ve made many friends and memories through beach rugby, and it has enriched my life. The relationships I’ve made with people have supported me and helped me grow spiritually.
