What do you do at OPSWAT?
At OPSWAT, I work with enterprise Energy senior decision makers from prospects and customers on enabling their security initiatives across IT and OT. I help them through their evaluation process and negotiating commercial terms.
As part of my role at OPSWAT, I spend lots of time in person with customers onsite, and at events educating them about the OPSWAT solution. I work cross-functionally with product, marketing and customer success to make sure my vertical is all in, rowing in the same direction. I also take pride in my OPSWAT culture and am a proud mentor to multiple OPSWAT new hires.

Your time at OPSWAT
What do you like most about your direct team?
My team is like a family. We truly have each other’s back. We win together and learn from each other’s losses. I truly like spending time with them, and I know that being on their team makes me a better salesperson and leader.
What do you enjoy most about the OPSWAT culture?
The culture at OPSWAT is what you make of it. No one will stand in your way if you have a good idea or showcase leadership.
What do you do to protect critical infrastructure?
Of the 16 critical infrastructures defined by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Energy Sector is identified as “uniquely critical” because it provides an enabling function to all the other critical infrastructure sectors. Protecting critical infrastructure against cybersecurity threats in regulated environments, like Energy, makes everyone’s world work the way we want it to.
How did you begin your career in the cybersecurity industry?
I got lucky. I grew up with a family in tech, and I knew I wanted to be in sales. I was able to start my career as a BDR at a tech company making 100 calls a day. That opportunity led me into sales management at various start-ups that needed an energetic, data-driven leader, and I found the most interest in security companies because it is on the forefront of everyone’s mind.

My internal passion and desire to succeed. I am more competitive with myself than with my teammates.
