OPSWAT is excited to announce the new version of MetaDefender Email Security. Our brand new release enables enterprises to gain a critical level of protection typically missing from the industry. Since email-borne threats bypass advanced threat detection solutions, a prevention-based method not solely depending on detection must be adopted to combat the malware adaptation.
Using industry-leading multiscanning and Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technologies, MetaDefender Email Security prevents zero-day attacks and unknown threats as well as reaching known threat detection rates approaching 100%, without introducing unnecessary overhead to the email server. MetaDefender Email Security also prevents sensitive data loss (Proactive DLP) to detect and block sensitive content leaving or entering the organization.

Simplified configuration, single pane of glass
We are thrilled to offer a new version of MetaDefender Email Security 5.0. From now, it has included all technologies in the package (at the highest tier) and brought all settings onto a single configuration page to streamline the user experience. Focus on what you need, get it done quickly, all from a single place.
Licensing made easy
With this product launch, our customers can now benefit from a brand new user-based licensing model. Easily integrated with Active Directory, IT admins can easily manage the mailboxes (user accounts) that need to be protected.
AD-based policy enforcement
In the settings of Security Rules, a modified filter and new features are introduced. Administrators allowed to use the Active Directory server profile to enforce a security rule on emails sent to or from members of Active Directory groups.
Enhanced user experience
All new customizable dashboard is implemented in Email Gateway Security v5.0. It does not only look better but more convenient for administrators than ever before. Each user can configure the displayed widgets and their size for detailed information.
Both Email History and Quarantine function received a comprehensive development with new colors and a better layout for enhanced user experience. Administrators will have a more convenient overview and filtering options for each history entry in their systems.
