OPSWAT, a global leader in CIP (critical infrastructure protection) cybersecurity, remains committed to the continued enhancement of supply chain security solutions for our customers. Our latest addition to our overall supply chain security, MetaDefender Drive Digital Display, can scan a server without the need for a sever screen to be attached. The keypad provides further interaction with the display menu to view more scan status details. MetaDefender Drive is available alongside our existing MetaDefender Drive product, expanding the use case of transient devices or servers that can be scanned with our market leading MetaDefender technology.
MetaDefender Drive Digital Display has been designed and engineered for ease-of-use, providing quick, accurate, and actionable information that tells its user—regardless of their skill level—if the transient device or server being scanned is safe, even if the scanned device does not have its own screen.
Transient Device and Server Security, Simplified
MetaDefender Drive Digital Display now features a built-in display allowing the user to see the results of scans on computers and servers without their own displays directly on MetaDefender Drive’s user-friendly UI. This enhancement compliments the existing features of MetaDefender Drive:

Secure Boot Scan
MetaDefender Drive secure boots on the transient device without the need to run any OS or install any software. Providing true OS separation, once MetaDefender Drive secure boots, it thoroughly scans computers and servers from bare metal to user space files and directories to prevent threats from entering secure networks.

Security Compliance
MetaDefender Drive helps organizations comply with key regulations like NERC CIP 003-7, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82, ISO/IEC 27001, ANSSI and more, where no software can be installed on scanned transient devices and/or servers.

Detect Malware Others Miss
MetaDefender Drive leverages up to seven antivirus engines to increase overall protection. The use of more engines improves detection rates of roughly 45% with a single antivirus engine to over 82% with seven—those engines include:
- CrowdStrike
- McAfee
- Ahnlab
- ESET
- Avira
- Bitdefender
- K7

Data Loss Prevention
MetaDefender Drive can detect PII (personally identifiable information) including credit card and social security numbers in documents, images, and videos and prevent the acquisition of data from within a secured OT zone.

Identify Country of Origin
Determine the origin of hardware, software, and firmware to help with compliance and supply chain concerns and the country of deployment executive orders.
