MetaDefender Cluster 2.9.0 improves file scanning and access from MetaDefender Cluster Control Center, provides greater control over how MetaDefender Core instances are assigned to workflows, and adds RAM disk and TLS configuration options.
Verify Files Faster, All from One Place
Users can now submit files for scanning directly from MetaDefender Cluster Control Center, view scan results, and look up previous results by data ID or file hash. When available, sanitized or processed files can also be downloaded directly from MetaDefender Cluster Control Center, and anonymous scanning is supported when anonymous access is enabled. This gives administrators and analysts a single place to test files and retrieve results without switching tools.
Get the Right Processing Power to the Right Workflow
Administrators can now assign specific MetaDefender Core instances to individual workflows, providing greater control over which instances process requests for each workflow. Assigned instances are displayed with CPU and memory information, making it easier to identify and manage the appropriate processing instances. This lets organizations align processing capacity with workflow priority and resource availability across the cluster.
Scan Faster with Lower Disk I/O
MetaDefender Cluster now supports configuring MetaDefender Core working and temporary directories to use a RAM disk. In environments with sufficient memory, this can reduce disk I/O and improve processing performance, helping organizations get faster scan throughput from their existing infrastructure.
Enhanced Encryption
MetaDefender Cluster Control Center now provides TLS configuration options when adding or editing RabbitMQ and Redis service connections. Administrators can enable TLS, configure certificate verification, and specify a CA certificate path directly from Control Center.
