MetaDefender Cluster™ v2.7.0: AI Content Inspection, Enterprise Authentication, and Streamlined Deployment

MetaDefender Cluster 2.7.0 expands the depth of file inspection with OPSWAT AI Content Inspector integration, strengthens enterprise access control with Active Directory/ LDAP authentication, and simplifies automated deployments through Ignition File configuration.

A file can pass every malware check and still carry fabricated or misleading content. MetaDefender Cluster 2.7.0 integrates OPSWAT AI Content Inspector to address this gap by adding a content analysis layer to existing workflows so organizations can assess not just whether a file is safe, but whether its contents show signs of AI generation or fraud.

MetaDefender Cluster 2.7.0 now supports authentication through Active Directory or LDAP, letting users log in with existing corporate credentials. Users authenticated via AD/LDAP can also generate and manage their own API keys, reducing administrative overhead while keeping access governance aligned with enterprise identity policies.

Service connections can now be configured through the Ignition file during MetaDefender Cluster Control Center installation. This helps simplify automated deployments but also initial setup.
