We are excited to unveil the latest enhancements to OPSWAT Proactive Data Loss Prevention (DLP), AI-powered document classification. Proactive DLP now detects not safe for work (NSFW) content in images and text.
It also classifies personal identity documents based on common document structures, enabling organizations to block suspicious out-of-policy documents.

OPSWAT Proactive DLP safeguards critical data in your organization. This latest version adds NSFW content detection features to identify adult images and toxic text in images and documents. Getting started with OPSWAT Proactive DLP is straightforward and is now fully integrated into MetaDefender Cloud, our cloud-based cybersecurity platform.

Document Identification Features

Let's delve into OPSWAT Proactive DLP's new document identification features.

Not Safe for Work (NSFW) Content Detection

1. Detecting Adult Content in Images

Detecting offensive or adult content in images has been a significant challenge requiring manual checking and flagging of offensive content. With advancements in artificial intelligence and deep learning, we can now automatically classify NSFW images with high precision.

Our advanced AI identifies explicit and suggestive adult content within images, making it easier for your business platforms to remain user-friendly and free from inappropriate material. This capability includes images, cartoons, and anime. Users have the option to blur adult images automatically.

2. Detecting Offensive Language in Text

Text-based offensive language detection goes beyond images to detect offensive and toxic content in documents and emails. Our AI utilizes natural language processing to identify and flag offensive content within text, including harmful or inappropriate language.

AI-Powered Personal Identity Document Detection

Proactive DLP uses AI technology combined with advanced OCR to classify personal identity documents based on common structures such as photo and text. If a potential personal identity document is detected, users can choose to block or allow it.

Proactive Data Loss Protection in the Cloud

MetaDefender Cloud now includes the Proactive DLP engine which identifies and reports sensitive data within files, ranging from credit card numbers (CCN) and social security numbers (SSN) to IPv4 and Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR). Supporting an extensive array of file formats, encompassing Microsoft Office documents and PDFs, the Proactive DLP engine empowers MetaDefender Cloud to detect and take action, whether it be blocking, preventing, or allowing the transfer of data between networks.

Adding a layer of precision to this process is the Certainty Score, a metric defined by the relevance of
the identified data within its specific context. This score is derived from comprehensive analysis, considering factors such as the number of digits, Bank Identification Number (BIN) lookup results, and overall contextual relevance. Users can observe Certainty Score values ranging from Very Low to Very High, providing a nuanced understanding of the confidence levels associated with the data identification process. With the addition
of DLP feature, MetaDefender Cloud delivers a comprehensive and nuanced approach to securing
sensitive information.
