Personal Firewall
Threat protection on endpoints is critical to prevent blended threats and to inhibit outbreaks. Properly configured endpoint firewalls protect organizations by blocking internal network attacks from breaching any device connected to the network and to prevent these threats from ever leaving the initially infected endpoint.
The Device Posture Module identifies personal firewall applications installed on the endpoint and as well their configuration.
Detection
Identify personal firewall applications or components from a security suite, which are installed on the machine, be that native or 3rd party products including vendor, version, language and architecture.
Configuration
Retrieve the state of the firewall product to determine if it’s enabled.
Remediation
Automatically enable the firewall application.
