Introduction of Sandbox
We are proud to announce the integration of th MetaDefender Sandbox with a wide range of features in OPSWAT MetaDefender Email Security. Using advanced emulation engines of the sandbox, MetaDefender Email Security is able to detect zero-day malware and malicious code in various email attachments, such as MS Office documents or PDF files.

OSPWAT Filescan Sandbox is ten times faster and 100 times more efficient than other sandbox solutions, enabling users to perform dynamic threat analysis without affecting their productivity.
New classifications (Normal, Suspicious & Malicious behavior) have been added to identify results directly in the MetaDefender Email Security UI.

The sandboxing feature offers the following benefits:
- Even Higher Detection Rate using Sandbox: MetaDefender Sandbox is using proprietary engines to enable adaptive threat analysis, adding a top-notch layer of zero-day malware detection to MetaDefender Email Security.
- Lightning-Fast Malware Detection: MetaDefender Sandbox emulates a wide range of highly obfuscated malware, including PowerShell, Jscript, and XSL, to detect hidden threats in real-time, stopping sophisticated email threats before they can do any damage.
- Actionable Intelligence: With MetaDefender Sandbox, the SOC team gains critical data to plan an in-depth defense strategy against zero-day email threats.
The new sandboxing capabilities are a testament to OPSWAT’s dedication to ensuring the highest level of protection available for our customers. For more information, please contact us.
