The Position

The Manager, HR Business Partner serves as the primary HR advisor for managers and employees across our Vietnam office, with a strong focus on Product & Engineering. This role combines strategic partnership with hands on execution, working closely with business leaders and HR teams to enhance talent, performance, culture and overall organizational effectiveness, while ensuring local compliance and alignment with global programs.   

 What You Will Be Doing:

Strategic Partnership 

  • Partner with leaders to understand business and talent needs and translate them into actionable people strategies. 
  • Provide end-to-end HRBP support across workforce planning, performance development, engagement, organizational changes, and team effectiveness. 
  • Use data, insights and metrics to guide decisions and improve organizational health. 
  • Design and implement initiatives that enhance productivity team performance. 

Recruitment  

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on both technical and business hiring. 
  • Support recruitment strategies to attract and retain engineering and technical talent. 
  • Contribute to talent engagement and employer branding activities. 

Talent & Performance 

  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, career growth framework and capability development programs. 
  • Lead performance management cycles and coach managers on feedback, development, and team leadership. 
  • Support smooth onboarding and integration for new hires. 

 Culture & Engagement 

  • Help shape a positive, high-performance and collaboration-driven culture. 
  • Address team dynamics and engagement concerns proactively. 
  • Reinforce company values and long-term people development. 

 Employee Relations & Compliance 

  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters and policy interpretation. 
  • Handle sensitive cases with professionalism, confidentiality and fairness. 
  • Ensure compliance with local legislations and internal HR practices.  

 HR Programs & Enablement 

  • Implement HR programs in partnership with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Engagement & Learning) 
  • Improve HR processes and support adoption of digital HR tools. 
  • Apply HR analytics to identify trends and recommend actions. 

 What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.  
  • 6+ years of HRBP experience in similar roles, ideally in tech or engineering environments.  
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build trust influence across levels.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both English and Vietnamese. 
  • Fast learner, adaptable and accountable.  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.  
  • Solid understanding of Vietnam labor laws (regional exposure is a plus).  
  • Proven experience in talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.  
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
