In June of 2013, we moved into our new offices located in one of San Francisco's sunniest neighborhoods, Potrero Hill. 398 Kansas Street, which was originally constructed in 1912 for use by General Electric Corporation, was built in the American Commercial style by the San Francisco-based architect, Herbert Maggs. After the repeal of Prohibition in 1934, the building was purchased by the German brewer, Joseph Kraus, who used the facility to re-open his famous Anchor Brewing Company. The remodel of the building was designed by architect Shira Schapira, and features original exposed brick and wood beams mixed with a modern aesthetic well-suited to San Francisco's tech industry. The office has two spacious floors with an open workspace and centrally-located conference rooms to help foster employee communication. Both floors feature ample amounts of natural light and exposed white beams. The space features collaborative workspaces, five conference rooms, private offices and a large kitchen with a communal table for group lunches.
