I am very proud of what our Vietnam team has built. When I walk the floors in Ho Chi Minh City office, I see talent, passion, ownership, and a culture that feels alive. Cuong and the leadership team created a foundation that is strong and full of heart. Now we are ready for the next chapter. We are ready to grow from 550 people to more than 1,000 and strengthen Vietnam’s role as a global engineering and operations powerhouse.

The Opportunity
As General Manager of OPSWAT Vietnam, you will become the senior leader shaping this next stage. You will help elevate everything that has been built, and you will help us reach heights that are even greater.
You will work directly with me, with our global leaders in Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Supply chain, Sales, and Security. Your influence will reach across the company. You will represent OPSWAT to universities, partners, government, and our customers in Vietnam.
This is a role for someone who brings engineering understanding, operational strength, and a sincere love for people. Someone who can help carry our mission forward with purpose and humility.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the Vietnam Site
- Act as OPSWAT’s senior leader in Vietnam, guiding culture, performance, and alignment.
- Strengthen the values, pride, and unity that already define the office.
- Keep our people engaged, supported, and inspired.
Engineering and Technical Partnership
- Represent Vietnam’s engineering capabilities to our global leadership team.
- Work with Engineering, Product, and Security leaders to drive quality, speed, and innovation.
- Help develop the next generation of technical leaders in Vietnam.
Operational Excellence
Oversee and uplift daily operations and compliance, including:
- HR and leadership development.
- Finance and budget discipline.
- Facilities and workplace experience.
- IT and Security compliance.
- Supply chain and logistics for hardware products.
- Sales, Marketing, Brand and Website
Growth and Scale
- Lead the scale from 550 to more than 1,000 employees.
- Build leadership depth and structure to support long term growth.
- Strengthen workforce planning and talent pipelines.
People Leadership
- Inspire teams with clarity and purpose.
- Encourage ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Model OPSWAT’s values and our 20 Principles of Success.
Global and Regional Partnership
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and global executives.
- Represent Vietnam during global planning and strategy reviews.
- Build strong relationships with universities, industry groups, partners, and government.
- Travel occasionally to the United States and other OPSWAT locations.
What You Bring
Leadership
- Proven leadership in a global technology or engineering organization.
- Ability to unite people and lead with calm judgment and clear communication.
- Experience guiding cross functional teams in complex environments.
Technical Foundation
- A background in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, networking, cloud technologies, or a related field.
- Ability to understand technical challenges and work closely with engineering leaders.
Operational Strength
- Experience leading multi-function operations such as HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, and Security.
- Ability to scale with discipline while keeping culture strong.
People and Culture
- Genuine care for people and organizational health.
- A leadership style that attracts and grows top Vietnamese engineering talent.
