The Position

Are you ready to build something from the ground up? At OPSWAT, we’re creating our new HR Shared Services function, where we transform ideas into meaningful solutions.

As our HR Shared Services Project Lead, you’ll be the architect and project driver behind the setup of a global service model. From ticketing workflows to knowledge bases, SLAs, data cleanups, and process documentation, you’ll be helping to create the foundations that transform how our colleagues connect with HR every day.

This role goes beyond day-to-day maintenance — you’ll be designing, implementing, and setting the standards that transform HR support into a faster, smarter, and more seamless experience.

What You Will be Doing

Project & Process Implementation

  • Design and implement HR ticketing workflows, logic, and escalation rules.
  • Develop the HR service catalog and define service delivery standards.
  • Establish SLAs and case management metrics.
  • Partner with IT to integrate systems, automation, and self-service capabilities.

Knowledge & Content Development

  • Build and maintain HR knowledge bases, FAQs, and process documentation.
  • Create employee-facing guides and templates to enable self-service.
  • Ensure global processes are documented, consistent, and audit-ready.

Data & Operations Foundations

  • Lead HR data cleanups and standardization across systems.
  • Monitor data accuracy and establish ongoing governance processes.
  • Support compliance with audit, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Governance & Reporting

  • Track service metrics (case volume, resolution time, SLA adherence).
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Build dashboards and reports to enable leadership visibility.

Collaboration

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and IT on end-to-end process design.
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline handoffs between teams.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for Shared Services setup projects.

What We Need from You

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR service delivery.
  • Strong project and operations management skills — ability to define processes, set SLAs, and implement tools.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), or knowledge base platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
  • Analytical mindset; able to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling, tech-driven environment.

What We Offer

  • Ownership of projects that define the future of HR service delivery at OPSWAT.
  • Opportunity to build and scale an AI-enabled service model (chatbots, self-service, automation).
  • Exposure to global HR strategy and direct partnership with senior HR leaders.
  • Collaborative and innovative environment at the intersection of HR, technology and employee experience with a pathway to transition into a people leadership role as the function scales.
