Chief Financial Officer – A Personal Note from Benny, CEO of OPSWAT
I’m Benny, Founder and CEO of OPSWAT. We protect the world’s most critical infrastructure, and we have built a business that spans SaaS, software, and hardware across a global footprint. We operate 15 subsidiaries in multiple regions, with security centers in more than 20 countries.
Our mission is bold, our challenges are complex, and our growth is accelerating.
Next year, our long-time finance leader, Simon, will move into a part-time role. This creates an opportunity for someone exceptional to join me and our executive team as our new CFO. I am not looking for someone to simply run Finance. I am looking for a true partner, someone who will work closely with me and the executive team to build a performance-driven culture where every department and every function is measured financially and held accountable for results.
Public company experience is absolutely key. I am seriously considering taking OPSWAT public in the near future, and you will play a critical role in making that possible. This means preparing the organization with the right processes, discipline, governance, and investor relationships to succeed in the public markets. Equally important is experience in scaling revenues and operations - someone who has navigated rapid growth while keeping the organization agile and efficient. In addition to public company expertise, a track record in an agile, fast-moving private company is essential.
Our business is uniquely interesting. We are a combination of SaaS, software licensing, and hardware solutions, serving some of the most demanding and highly regulated customers in the world. We have the scale and reach of a global enterprise, but we operate with the agility and mindset of a growth company. Along the way, we face exciting challenges such as expanding into new markets, integrating acquisitions, streamlining operations across subsidiaries, and building automation into every corner of the business.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Partner directly with me, the executive team, and the Board to shape OPSWAT’s strategy
- Drive a culture where numbers are the foundation for decision-making
- Prepare and lead OPSWAT through a potential IPO with the rigor of a public company CFO
- Build world-class FP&A processes and leverage automation for faster and sharper insights
- Oversee finance for our 15 subsidiaries while ensuring compliance and operational excellence
- Optimize diverse revenue streams including SaaS subscriptions, software licensing, and hardware sales
- Solve the complex but exciting challenges of scaling a high-growth global business
What we are looking for:
- A proven Finance leader with deep public company experience and ideally with IPO exposure
- Experience in scaling revenues and operations in both public and agile, high-growth private companies
- Someone who has led FP&A functions at scale with a bias for automation and efficiency
- In addition to IPO readiness, capital markets experience, including building investor relationships, and optimizing the capital structure, would be a strong plus.
- A person who thrives on transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes
- The ability to navigate complex multi-entity global operations
- Experience balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution in a high-growth environment
This role is for someone who wants to do more than report the past. It is for someone who wants to shape the future. - Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and IT on end-to-end process design.
- Work cross-functionally to streamline handoffs between teams.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for Shared Services setup projects.
What We Need from You
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR service delivery.
- Strong project and operations management skills — ability to define processes, set SLAs, and implement tools.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), or knowledge base platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
- Analytical mindset; able to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling, tech-driven environment.
What We Offer
