The Position
We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel who can step into a strategic role and help us build for the future. You’ll report to our General Counsel and work closely with our executive team, sales leadership, and product teams. What You Will Be Doing

The Position
As an FP&A, you will be a critical financial business partner to support our Senior FP&A Manager of Go-To-Market and own GTM business partnership. Your role will be instrumental in guiding financial strategies and decision-making, specifically related to developing and delivering an effective Go-To-Market strategy, as well as defining and monitoring KPIs aligned with achieving strategic objectives related to topline growth. - Support end-to-end revenue analysis: Reporting and forecasting process. Identify drivers of business performance and synthesize for executive-level communication. Forecast short and long-term revenue, ARR, billings and bookings forecasts to guide financial and strategic decisions.
- Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders, translating business strategies into financial outcomes. Offer guidance on planning, budgeting, and performance management. The Position: Head of FP&A
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to partner directly with our CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership team. This leader will drive our global FP&A function, leading financial forecasting, planning, and strategic decision-making processes that power OPSWAT’s continued growth towards IPO.
You will serve as the company’s financial compass, bringing clarity, rigor, and insight to business decisions across Sales, Marketing, Product, R&D, and Operations. This is a highly visible role, responsible for ensuring financial discipline, shaping investment strategies, and driving operational excellence across all departments.

What You Will Be Doing
- Drive the annual planning process, quarterly rolling forecasts, board packages, and long-range models across all products use cases, business units and regions.
- Act as the primary finance partner to functional executives, influencing strategy through data-driven insights and scenario analysis.
- Own, maintain, and continuously enhance the company’s core financial models—including the three-statement, ARR, headcount, and bookings models—to ensure accuracy, scalability, and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Partner closely with Product Management to develop and refine pricing and packaging strategies, using data-driven analysis to optimize monetization, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive margin expansion.
- Oversee headcount capacity models, quota attainment, productivity, and ROI analysis for GTM investments.
- Build frameworks to evaluate new initiatives, pricing strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
- Scale and optimize our Adaptive Planning environment and Power BI dashboards to enable real-time reporting, accuracy, and automation.
- Prepare executive reporting materials, board decks, and KPI narratives for investor and leadership reviews.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of FP&A managers and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Data teams to ensure consistency between financial, operational, and KPI reporting.
What We Need from You
- 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Corporate Finance leadership roles, ideally within SaaS or cybersecurity environments.
- Experience with IPO readiness and preparing beat and raise financial models.
- Proven experience building and leading FP&A functions in high-growth, global organizations.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior leadership and board members.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV/CAC, Rule of 40) and financial modeling best practices.
- Demonstrated success partnering with CROs, CMOs, and department heads to influence strategic decisions.
- Hands-on expertise with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning), Power BI, and modern FP&A tech stacks.
- Track record of achieving forecast accuracy, improving efficiency, and driving accountability through data.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on location, as outlined below, as well as the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonuses, benefits, and equity.
Base Pay Range: San Francisco Bay Area $250,000 - $275,000.

- Design and implement HR ticketing workflows, logic, and escalation rules.

The Position
As an FP&A, you will be a critical financial business partner to support our Senior FP&A Manager of Go-To-Market and own GTM business partnership. Your role will be instrumental in guiding financial strategies and decision-making, specifically related to developing and delivering an effective Go-To-Market strategy, as well as defining and monitoring KPIs aligned with achieving strategic objectives related to topline growth. You will leverage your expertise to drive financial planning, processes improvements, and support the GTM departments to optimize resource allocation and prioritize high-ROI investments. Your experience working within SaaS companies will be essential as you help scale OPSWAT’s offerings and contribute to our mission of protecting the world’s critical infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be expected to work (Hybrid - 3 days a week) from our office at 398 Kansas St., situated near downtown San Francisco.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support end-to-end revenue analysis: Reporting and forecasting process. Identify drivers of business performance and synthesize for executive-level communication. Forecast short and long-term revenue, ARR, billings and bookings forecasts to guide financial and strategic decisions.
- Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders, translating business strategies into financial outcomes. Offer guidance on planning, budgeting, and performance management. Assess the ROI of investments, and make recommendations to guide team resource allocation in support of strategic initiatives.
- Annual Planning: Support cross-functional annual planning process, bridging company-wide KPIs to team-level investment decisions across GTM teams. Identify gaps and overlaps across the organization and make recommendations to help OPSWAT scale efficiently and successfully.
- Strategic Decision Support: Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis, including 3-statement models, to support investment decisions and operational improvements.
- Month-End Close & Variance Analysis: Analyze actuals vs. forecast and budget to ensure accuracy and accountability. Identify key variances and work with teams to refine forecasts and improve financial discipline.
- Management Reporting: Develop and distribute monthly and quarterly reports, metrics, and dashboards for leadership review. Advance our reporting infrastructure through automation, visualizations, and streamlined processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and tools—enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Supporting FP&A Senior Manager: Partner with and provide day-to-day support to the Senior FP&A Manager, assisting with deliverables across forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis
What We Need from You
- 2+ years in FP&A or similar roles with experience in SaaS or technology companies a plus. Experience supporting GTM teams is plus.
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills, with the ability to create and maintain complex financial models.
- Confident user of Adaptive Insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work as a business partner.
