The Position 

The position will play an important role in assuring quality of OPSWAT cyber security technologies and products at the highest level. As a member of the team, you will be involved in every stage of the software development life cycle. 

What you will be doing: 

• Responsible for both manual and automated test. 
• Analyze/review product requirements. 
• Write/review detailed test cases and perform testing based on requirements. 
• Perform different types of testing: API testing, functional testing, integration testing, usability testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, security testing, regression testing, … 
• Utilize and improve the existing test framework to implement automated tests. 
• Handle support escalation such as creating reproducible bug reports or help troubleshoot. 
• Report/manage defects. 

What We Need From You 

• Have knowledge in software testing with a good QA mindset
• Have knowledge in testing software on different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux...) and Browsers
• Have knowledge in writing automation using any scripting languages (bash shell, powershell, python, ...), any programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#…

The Position:

The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at OPSWAT. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure on-premises and AWS cloud, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. This role requires expertise in on-premises and AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging solutions. What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with a developer team and QA team to develop and operate the product

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on-premises (supporting Windows, Linux, and High Availability) and in the cloud (AWS, using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, and RDS).

• Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring scalability and high availability.

The MetaDefender Endpoint Security SDK is a cross-platform, modular framework that allows developers and technology vendors to efficiently integrate advanced endpoint protection capabilities into their products.

We are looking for hands-on C++ Software Engineer (Junior - Middle) to join a talented group of engineers building MetaDefender Endpoint Security SDK – one of OPSWAT’s flagship Cybersecurity products.

In this role, you will spend your time hands-on with coding, while the remaining time will be dedicated to designing new features and researching new technologies. The server validates license keys during installation or activation, tracks active licenses, enforces compliance with purchased entitlements, and manages modules and engine packages to control feature access across products.

The Position

The Threat Detection Analyst supports OPSWAT’s threat analysis and detection engineering efforts, leveraging our sandbox product as the primary detection engine to identify and mitigate cyber threats. You will be part of the Malware Lab, the intelligence hub behind the sandbox—researching emerging threats, enhancing detection capabilities, and ensuring high confidence in analysis results.

By combining malware analysis and signature development, you will help continuously evolve the sandbox to stay ahead of modern threats.

What You Will Be Doing

Malware Analysis & Reverse Engineering – the foundation of everything we do.

Sandbox Capability Development – implement new extraction features (filetype-specific parsers, config extractors, etc.) to enrich behavioral detection artifacts.

Threat Indicator Development – identify and flag structural and behavioral patterns of interest.

YARA Rule Vetting & Development – validate community rules and create tailored detection signatures.

Detection Accuracy – hunt for misleading sandbox reports and ensure proper sample classification.

What We Need From You

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Advanced certifications (e.g., GREM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent) are highly preferred.

Experience

2+ years in malware analysis, reverse engineering, or threat detection engineering.

Proven expertise in developing and tuning detection rules (YARA, SIGMA, IDS).

Skills & Competencies

Strong grasp of reverse engineering fundamentals.

Solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape and adversary techniques.
